NFL Week 11

Last week was 9-7. Overall 87-57. Compared to the ESPN Experts, I am still a couple games behind Jaws, one game behind Schlereth, and tied with Golic. Some of you may be asking yourselves, "How is Lutheran Lucy doing?" She is doing just fine, thanks. And thanks for asking.

Oh, you thought I meant football? Okay. Now remember, she is just doing this because I asked her to, which is mighty sporting, but she actually has a better record than all of us the past 5 weeks. Overall she is 78-66. Not bad considering she doesn't know much football. So why don't more of you try your hand? And her record is actually better than ESPN Expert Chris Mortensen's 77-67.

On to this week:

Baltimore
Houston
Chicago
New Orleans
Indianapolis
Miami
New England
Kansas City
Cleveland (upset special!)
Carolina
Philadelphia
Tampa Bay
Arizona
Seattle
Denver
Jacksonville

  1. Thanks for pulling for us (Browns). Better luck next time.

    How about those Buckeyes?

  2. MarieN!

Guess my good luck has worn off! Sorry about that.

    Buckeyes rule!

  3. Scottius!

Thanks for trying. A couple healthy defensive backs, and a few more punches of the clock, and the outcome would have been different for the Browns.

  4. Quipper!

Did they really give up 21 points in the 4th quarter? You must have been ready to explode.

  5. Naah, not ready to explode. They played the same defensive scheme against Michael Vick the previous week, and it worked. What it tells me is that Rot...burger is a better QB than Vick.

A few well-executed offensive plays, and the Browns would have easily held the ball for another two minutes. I'm more concerned about the offense than the defense.

  6. Sorry Scottius,

I made the Quipper out to be much more of a hot-head in my comment than he is in reality :-)
