And It's Such A Useful Song

I take back what I wrote in my previous post about "Yakety Sax."

I really don't want that song out of my head. In fact, I'd like it to be the background theme music in my life.

There are just a handful of situations one could possibly face that the song "Yakety Sax" couldn't help make better, at least by a little bit.

Having a bad day? Just start humming "Yakety Sax".

Crazy co-workers driving you nuts? Just "Yakety Sax" that feeling away.

Watching Congress at work on C-span? Put "Yakety Sax" on for background music.

In fact, I think Dish Network should just loop "Yakety Sax" on all the C-span channels when it broadcasts live from the House or Senate.

Worried about another Depression, or the rise of a fascist dictator? All will dissolve like mist if you just break into "Yakety Sax."

In fact, if you're upset about our President's economic recovery plan, I've got just the thing for you.

Listen to his speech from the other night.

Only don't just listen to it. Play "Yakety Sax" in the background while you listen. It makes it look and sound so much better.

I'm serious. Try it. It is the kind of stuff made for comedy.

I get it now. The President is trying to make us laugh our way out of our predicament. And I'm behind his method 100%

Because no one could really take seriously that his proposals are going to make life better for us, our children, or our grandchildren, could they?

And because the answer to that question is "yes", just remember- "Yakety Sax", baby!

War Jim Rome for making "Yakety Sax" my new theme song!

I was finishing the last pages of this book called "A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (And Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media" by Bernard Goldberg (I know, it's a ridiculously long title, but a good read). I decided to spice it up a little by adding some "Yakety Sax" towards the end. Wow, what a difference. I think you might be on to something here. I can see this idea really taking off. Kudos! By the way, I started a blog called Monk's Diner, and it's pretty much about nothing. Stop by anytime you have nothing of any real importance to say. We run daily specials on big salads.

Elaine!

Thanks. We at Scottius Maximus Enterprises are always trying to help.

And I shall check out the new blog. Hopefully none of it is over my head. Just don't use any big words.

I searched all over Google to find the name of this song. Big time thanks! I can die in peace.

Paladin!

You're welcome. You did all the work! I didn't really do anything.

Great name. I remember a character from "Have Gun- Will Travel" named Paladin.
