Thursday Reading

Deuteronomy 15-18.

Two more days until THE biggest day of the year so far. I'm not referring to Valentine's Day, either.

Only two more days of winter.

Huh?

Doesn't winter have 36 more days?

I'm thinking it's something along the lines of "pitchers and catchers report." Yippee!!

Gino!

Around here, the seasons are states of mind rather than astronomical events.

Winter starts when the corn dies and ends when pitchers and catchers report. Fall is not really a season, just winter's overture. Spring means a time to get ready for the baseball season, which is of course the meaning of summer.

Barb!

You got it! It's exciting!
