Wednesday Reading

2 Kings 7-10.

In recent years I have seen a fair number of Elizabeth Taylor's movies on Turner Classic Movies. She was a pretty good actress.

The movies I will forever remember her for, however, are the two I remember watching as a child. That would be "Giant", and, of course, the spectacle of all spectacles, "Cleopatra".

But, in the end, I'll probably remember her best for her turn on "Here's Lucy" in 1970. The background scoop on her appearance with Richard Burton on that episode, 'Lucy Meets The Burtons', makes for great reading, and is chronicled well in "The Lucy Book". I highly recommend it to any Lucy fan. Or TV fan for that matter.
