Tuesday Reading

Isaiah 53-56.

If we have a Catholic channel, as well as all kinds of Evangelical/Pentecostal weirdness channels, why is there no Lutheran channel?

I hope you seriously wanted an answer here! :) The LCMS couldn't/wouldn't even hang on to the radio station that they had. Can't answer for any other Lutherans.

Come to think of it, I think we have a different view towards "ministry" than the Evangelical/Pentecostal weirdos and we aren't into meditation/repeated prayer/etc. like the Catholics. And there's only so many Davey and Goliath videos you could show.

I'm furious that Concordia currently refuses to create apps for Android. It's all just iPhone right now. Hello, Android is moving up the popularity ladder pretty darn quickly!

Barb!

I am serious, so thanks for your comment. I wouldn't look to LCMS to do anything, precisely because of the radio fiasco.

I'm sure it'll happen someday, though. This will give us time to make more Davey and Goliath.

Do you really look at evangelicals as weird? I hope not. And I loved Davey and Goliath, I used to watch it every week.

DR!

What I was referring to was that part of Evangelical American Christianity you see on TV. You've seen them, tying religion to government, bringing psychobabble into the church, and driving the pop-Christianity bus.

And then there are the TV preachers who make me vomit up phlegm.

But on the bright side...we're all weird.

And I vote to nominate Davey and Goliath on the Republican ticket
