Even for a dude with 9 lives, yesterday's press conference about Chris Carpenter was particularly ominous. I don't really expect to ever see him pitch again.
And even though their are a lot of young guns coming to the big leagues really soon, nobody will be able to match his intensity. I just hope he hangs around the club to rub off some of his intensity to those impressionable "yutes".
