Weekend Reading And Super Bowl Pick

Ecclesiasticus 16-19.
Genesis 1: 26-31.
Matthew 18: 15-20.

I'm looking forward to the day when football season overlaps into baseball.  We're almost there now.  Only 8 days until pitchers and catchers report, and today is the Super Bowl.

I have no horse in this fight, nor a dog in this race.  There are reasons I don't want either team to win, but not any reasons why I want either of them to win.

Which makes me have little interest in this year's game.  Only if it is a spectacular game will my interest be enough to keep me through 4 quarters.  Just a good game may not cut it.

Last year I experimented with my trusty quarter.  This year truly is a toss-up.  So up it goes...

and down comes...

San Francisco.

  1. As a Cleveland Browns fan, I must by law hate the Baltimore Ravens until my last breath is gone. Too bad the 49ers blew it.

Interesting. Are there any Ravens fans in Cleveland still rooting for the old team?

  3. If there are, they would probably be quiet about it. And since Cleveland fans had to sue the NFL to keep our name and colors, most don't consider the Ravens the old team.

When the Cardinals moved to Arizona, St. Louis still broadcast the games for a year or two, which I always found weird.
