But I also count as a blessing growing up listening to Jack Brickhouse and Lou Boudreau, thanks to my Cub fan older brother. They were always fun, especially because they'd wail at the Cubs' misfortunes. Things changed when Harry Caray came to town. The Cubs became more of a commercial entity, I believe.<BR/><BR/><I>"Even though I hate the Cardinals with every fiber of my being (I'm a Cub fan and native of southern Illinois), the Cardinals are a part of who I am as a human being."</I><BR/><BR/>If you substitute the word Cubs with the word Cardinals, and vice versa, I could make the same statement.
