I don't know....Well, I didn't say it wasn't crude. I don't know. I don't think it's coarse, but I also wouldn't repeat it to anyone.

Think of it this way. You didn't plan to laugh, right? It just came out. If that is evidence of our sinful nature, then so be it. We laughed, felt bad and then confessed our known and unknown sins. What more can we do? It'll happen again because of the world we live in.TKls2myhrthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06724036618937738900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9215722.post-68042604430322797332007-08-06T16:42:00.000-05:002007-08-06T16:42:00.000-05:00TK!I'm sorry, I would have put a cubicle warning o...TK!

I'm sorry, I would have put a cubicle warning on it, but I didn't know if anyone else would find it funny.

I have always loved Dick Butkus. Now, because of this joke, I'll probably never be able to see him and not think of Brokeback Mountain.

But you don't think it was crude? Even if we don't think of coarse jokes, is it wrong to laugh at one we find funny?Scottius Maximushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497918826005463738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9215722.post-14702717457163761372007-08-06T13:56:00.000-05:002007-08-06T13:56:00.000-05:00Not only did I have to stifle my laughter in cubic...Not only did I have to stifle my laughter in cubicle-land, but then I had to wonder if I should feel guilty about laughing. Face it, the only reason we laughed is because some poor guy's mother didn't think when she named her son, Dick Butkus. Making the connection to the phrase, "Brokeback Mountain" isn't bad; it's just matter of fact. There was no insult, just an hilarious play on words.TKls2myhrthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06724036618937738900noreply@blogger.com
