Tomorrow is the beginning of the Masters Golf Tournament. Probably the most famous and most prestigious golf tournament in the United States.
I've kept it a secret from most, but I once had the honor to play at Augusta when I was much younger. I was an amateur, and I didn't make the cut, but my time there was thoroughly enjoyable. In fact, I'll never forget it.
I even had a picture taken of me while I was there. It's the only one I have of the whole experience, unfortunately. I was trying to get out of a sand trap. So scroll down to see me in action in the Masters, circa early '80s.

Ha! Ha! I love the threads Scottius!! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you dig 'em! I do too- they're quite relaxing. Getting in to Augusta without shoes and in shorts was a feat in and of itself.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you posted that embarrassing photo of yourself!
ReplyDeleteNow that I've had time to think about it, I know what you mean by embarrassing. Just LOOK at my grip!
