Even Though This Season Was A Waste...

...at least the Cardinals have come back home. This is the best Cardinals news all year.

I've missed "Live at Shannon's" the past few seasons because KTRS was a joke of a radio station to begin with. KMOX comes in fairly well 24/7. KTRS comes in well only during the day. Forget it at night.

On a national level, KMOX is as big as they come. The only states that can't pick it up are Alaska and Hawaii. To maintain a viable national market, the Cardinals had to do this.

Even an organization making such boneheaded moves as trading Ryan Ludwick realized the mistake they had made. Good for them this time.

Although I got a chuckle about this:
"
I don't think there are any regrets," DeWitt said about the original decision to leave KMOX."

Really? I can think of millions of people who would disagree with that statement.

Did you see Tony LaRussa and Albert Pujols at Glenn Beck's Restoring Honor rally?

I only read about it, I didn't see it. I guess it's available online to watch. Did you see it?

I did see it. Albert was very positive about the opportunities he has received in this country.

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the rally in Washington,D.C., and it was a great surprise to see them both there. Albert was a very positive speaker and he gave a wonderful testimony as he accepted his award. It was a beautiful day.

DR!

That's awesome- are you on the online recording?

I'm in there somewhere among the other 500,000 people. I'm the one sitting on the concrete base of the lamp post closest to the stage on the right, LOL. I'm sure you can spot me :P

I got there at 2:30 in the morning to get that spot. It was quite a day. Much more spiritual than political, but the mainstream media will never understand that. It was awesome, actually.
