Hat tip to Indiana Jane for finding this quiz, which is much better than the quiz I posted last week.

Rock Star

You scored 94%!

You damn rock star. You know all the basics, and if you got any wrong, I bet it was that stupid Traveling Wilburys question.

Your friends are probably intimidated by your knowledge of classic rock and envy your impressive collection. When a classic rock song comes on the radio, you can probably identify it before the vocals kick in most of the time. You probably get good scores on the "maiden name of Clapton's mom" tests, too.

My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 99% on notes

  1. Snickering at this line: "You probably get good scores on the "maiden name of Clapton's mom" tests, too."

My score was much better at only 84%, so says the quiz: “…subtle combination of impressive knowledge and not being a pretentious geek.”

I know. No matter what I do on these quizzes, they always end up insulting me.

  3. The Quipper did better than I on the test, as I knew he would. I scored in the high 70's. The lyrics were a snap for me -- why would people dread that part?

I never cared much for following celebs. so that brought my score way down.

I followed celebrities in my younger days. Back when apes were apes.

    You scored 52%!

I don't know if you've been searching low and high, but you do know your bare-bones classic rock basics. With this kind of score, you probably nailed the signature song questions and most of the albums. You probably don't have much of a classic rock collection yourself, but when your friends play theirs, you recognize the songs. This is a respectable score: you're neither know-nothing nor nerd.
