Great win last night! The Quipper told our eldest (9) today that he could guarantee the Browns will not lose today. She was all excited till he 'splained it to her. That big meanie.
Hey Marie,I'm not a meanie, just a realist. :pI predict a big run for the Browns...of losses. I can see a 1-11 start to the season. Ick.
MarieN!Yes, that is mean. Like rooting for the Mets.Quipper! It was a little mean. Who would get a little fan's hopes up, only to dash them away? Besides the Cubs, that is?
Not as bad as when I told her that Niagara Falls were turned off at night. Marie didn't like that one too much, either. :-(Don't worry, though. Our daughter is reading Calvin and Hobbes books now. I believe she will get me back in the next couple of years.
BTW...the kids and I played football outside for 45 minutes, which otherwise would have been consumed by watching the Browns lose.I think we can take them. There's me (38yo), my 9yo daughter, and 4.75yo son. :-)
