Of all the ways to lose a game, why did it have to be Phillips? This is not a good sign for the weekend, but it's par for the bullpen this season.
The Pirates now lead the division. It's been 19 years, essentially a whole generation, since they have led this late in the year. Ponder that for awhile. I wouldn't mind seeing them win if the Cardinals can't pull it off.
