One thing I have against our Lutheran worship is the substitution of the word Christian for catholic in the Apostles Creed and Nicene Creed.
I think we believe in the catholic church as much as other Christians, no?
I think I get why the change was made, so no explanation needed. I just don't agree with it. In doing this, I think we have ceded use of the word catholic to Roman Catholics.
