Too Much Time On My Hands
And it's tickin' away, t-t-t-tickin' away from me."There is a common English word that is nine letters long. Each time you remove a letter from it, it still remains an English word — from nine letters right down to a single letter. What is the original word, and what are the words that it becomes after removing one letter at a time?" Click here for the answer.
I like how Tommy Shaw sings that song live. It's kind of silly, but in a cool way. To me it is totally amazing how Tommy Shaw has retained his ability to sing and perform as well, if not better, than back in the 70's.

I bet you didn't mean for this post to be about my second favorite group of all time, Styx!. Well, I just made it so! And the word thing was interesting, too. ;)
You make your blog very interesting dear and keep us all on our toes! :)
ReplyDeleteWas that guy the same guy singing in the videos? The 1970s guy looks like a 12 year old kid.
ReplyDeleteHey, Lucy, thanks for your kindness.
Tommy Shaw has aged very well. I don't know this for a fact, but I suspect he didn't overindulge in the usual rocker fare. I say that because when I saw REO Speedwagon and Styx in concert last summer, it was very obvious who did what during the 70's and 80's. The price paid shown on the faces of those individuals.
ReplyDeleteI just sent him an email on his YouTube space asking him his youthful secrets. Do you think he'll answer me? I'll let you know!

ReplyDeleteAKA, Keith Richards Syndrome.
I've been hankerin' for those late '70s/early '80s songs lately. Funny you should mention REO Speedwagon, because I just purchased the "Essential REO" CD a couple of months ago. Before they sold their soul and started singin' pop music in the mid-80s, they were an outstanding rock band. I think I'm gonna dust off an old album and play it tonight.
