Star Trek Fun

All of my fellow Star Trek fans...this post is for you.

I found this on Drudge. Some guy has enough spare time to carve Star Trek mazes in his corn fields. Seems like my kind of guy.

From Karen McL at Peripetia. Have you ever wondered what would happen if the Star Trek folks explored strange new worlds and ran across the Star Wars folks? We all know James T. Kirk could blow those evil Star Wars guys away, but what about Capt. Picard? View the video here.

And another from Karen. Check this out. Warning: some fast-motion action here.

Finally, here is something I found that is rather Larsonesque.

  2. Isn't *always* the guy without a First Name who ends up as Alien-Fodder?

(or is that Only in Galaxy Quest? *wink*)

    Thank for the Links!

    :-D

(I have a few more FUN GEMs for later this week...trying to take me mind off all the devastation and destruction around the world - grim news and more deaths! *sigh*)

  3. Q vs. Darth Vader. Now, there's a death match I'd like to see.

  4. I try to approach life and it's issues with the following question:

    What would Kirk do?

Okay, not really. But it's not a bad thought, is it?

  5. I'm one of those sick individuals who equally enjoy Star Trek AND Star Wars. I'm a pariah in both camps.

Ever hear the Dr. Demento song, Star Trekkin'? Roll on the floor funny!

    Star Trekkin' across the universe.
On the star ship Enterprise under Captain Kirk.
    Star Trekkin' across the universe
Boldly going forward cuz we can't find reverse.

  6. Aaaaack- Star Wars?!!!!! How could you?

    Alright, just kidding.

Never heard that song before. But it sounds funny. Nor have I heard the artist. Although I once knew a guy with the last name of Demento.

  8. Dr. Demento - I think he got started on the radio in Chicago then other stations picked him up. Was known for playing weird songs - I think that's where Weird Al Yankovic got his start. We have some Dr. Demento CDs so I know you can still buy his stuff - check Amazon. Great for road trips.

  9. When I want something different, I'll listen to They Might Be Giants. Good, light-hearted stuff.
