I am trying to get excited about the new NASCAR season starting.
I used to root for Michael Waltrip, Carl Edwards and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Now they are all retired.
I could have rooted for Matt Kenseth...but he retired too.
Where do I turn? Who do I root for now? I am in grave danger of completely losing interest.
NASCAR has had these transition periods before. I'm sure I'll pick up someone along the way. I just wish they'd declare themselves.
That said, I'm starting to watch more drag racing and Supercross. We'll see which wins out.
